Problem matching art deco plaster air vents
Hi, I need to replace a damaged plaster air vent and I am having problems sourcing an exact match. I've tried chad plaster (south Oakleigh) and they don't carry it. My plasterer has also tried Hopkins. The house is in Bentleigh.
I'd appreciate any suggestions as to where to try next. Pictures of the vent are attached.
thanks,

You could try F.Vitale & sons in Essendon.
Their site is at http://www.vitale.com.au/aboutus.htm.
If they don't have what you're looking for they can make it to order (at least they could a year or two ago) because they make alot of their own stuff.
Good luck.

Liddy's and Derite were the prominent suppliers to that area back in 50's to 80's
Liddy's are no longer in business and there moulds were either destroyed or sold overseas.
That leaves Derite who are still in business. Give them a try.
