Default What Herbal Remedies Do You Use

I use the juice from Aloe Vera on wounds & burns,
brilliant remedy , better than anything the Doc prescribes.

In Cold weather I drink a mug of chicken stock with 1/2 teaspoon of hot chilli powder, dries up sinuses and runny noses. In winter I have a drink of it every coupla weeks and very rarely get a cold.

    Whaddya you do?
    Regards, Bob Thomas

The Aloe Vera treatment is right on. Used to keep a plant growing just for this use.

My mum always put a bit of wet tobacco on bee stings. Said it drew out the stinger and the poison. Dunno if it worked, but I'm still here after countless bee stings.
    Cheers,

    Bob

    Hop wine, that sounds interesting
One for the donkey lovers though, if any of ours get a hoof bruise we put that hoof in a bucket of water with a bit of bleach for about 10 minutes, they pull up really well, don't know why but an old cocky told us about it years ago.
There is also a lot of greenery grown in the hills that the poor people smoke because they can't afford cigarettes, it makes them happy to know they are saving money.
