    Default W.A. Daylight saving

Daylight saving is to be implemented in WA on 3rd December for the summer months.
Over the ensuing 3 years the trial will be in place and then a referendum will be held to determine folks interest in the idea of having it here.

Then on a yes vote daylight saving will be a permanant fixture.

At least the state will be in tune with the rest of the country...but I worry about the amount of extra zinc cream bein' used and its impact on the environment.

    Cheers

Might even drag the Banana Benders in?

Just heard that WA's economy is bigger than Null Zulland now, so they can afford the extra daylight.

Not when I become a banana bender in the not too distant future then it'll only be an hour still with their own sense of individuality.

And don't forget it will stimulate the Oz economy.

Cane toads know daylihjt saving fades curtains and carpets so obviously the sales of curtains and carpets must increase.

Just keep us banana benders out of daylight saving.

We have already had 2 referendums, both returned a no vote.

poor Kunnunara up in the north east , the sun comes up at 5:30 am now , with the extra hour ,the light might last till 7:00pm

with more daylight , the fruit and vegies grow faster
plants produce more Co^2 at night so daylight saving is good for the enviroment

i hope thay have no Day light saving above the tropic of capricorn there is no need for it up north , QLD , NT , and abouve the Pilbera in WA should not have Daylightsaving
how come a 10mm peg dont fit in a 10mm hole

I think the fact is we are 21 hours ahead at present.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonay in one hand - Strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming - "WOO WOO...What a ride"
