    Default Finishes for sandblasted oregon

    Hi there,
we have had made a table top out of sandblasted oregon beams that have exposed the grain and are exploring finishes. We would like to finish it as close to existing natural colour as possible.
We are aware that the guys at Mark Tuckey use a soap finish that looks very impressive. Could anyone enlightens us how to do this or if there is any other alternative?

No idea of a soap finish, but you could use blonde or while Shellac, or uBeaut's shellac as they would keep the natural colour.

Oil isn't an option as oils tend to darken timber colours.

    cheers
