Hi

just a quick one - I'm painting some external cladding which is fixed with flush galv clouts. I was planning on using an oil based zink primer to spot prime the nail heads but the chap at solver sold me galvalink instead which is a water based galv primer. it says on the can that it assists in preventing the white rust that sometimes appears on galv. I will paint over with duraguard but don't want rusty spots to come through in a few years. We live fairly close to the coast. Does anybody know wheather the galvalink will do the trick or should I use the zink primer.

Thanks
