    Default Jewellry Manufacturers in Singapore

Has anyone had any experience with Jewelly buying in Singapore. My wife has a favouite Opel that she would like to have mounted into a pendant. The Hotel we stayed at last time always steered us towards an Indian establishment but I thought it looked a bit dodgy. Pete F do you have any experience in this field.

Bob, Its been awhile since I lived there. But after a recent trip I oould think the price of a setting would be very high. Singapore is no longer a third world country, but rather a first world country and has all the associated trappings and costs.

    Hi Hughie,
Thanks for your reply and advice, we live in a small country town and the Jewllers prices are over the top as well. We may have to wait until we are next in Sydney.

Brisbane would be closer. Also check around for lapadairy clubs as quite a few cut saphires etc and also set them.
I used to do the same with opal and saphire topaz etc.

    fxst,
I had thought about lapidary clubs, but as it is only one small item I did not wish to trouble them. Thanks for your advise.

Must be a big lady to have an Opel in a locket! Why not something a little daintier like a Mini?
