Putting downlights in a 2 storey townhouse - Concrete Slab Roof/2nd floor?
Hey everyone.
1st post so go easy on me!
I'm renovating my house over the next few weeks and at the moment have very ugly light fittings. I would like to have downlights but the problem is that the ceiling of the first storey is a concrete slab so I can not get any access. The hole in the ceiling for each light fitting at the moment only has a diameter of about 10cm at most.
Is there any inexpensive way I can put in downlights?
Or any suggestions for an attractive light fitting? At the monent its just a black pipe sort of thing with a light bulb on the end of it
Thanks very much!
