Demented
I was have a sticky around the other night and found this site.
Didn't take long to see it was an Aussie Site,so here I am.
I haven't done to much in the Woodwork for a while, but I had a request from my wife to build cot's for my two granddaughters (2 & 5) now we all know those request are more demands than requests,so that's what I'm up to at the moment.
See you around the forums

Thanks Andy,good to be here.
Well if I've figured out how to navigate around here a bit better,I'll post some pics,of course the one I'm building for my wife will be a lot better than the little one's get.
I'm Geoff anyway, somebody else has the same name, that's why I'm Demented

Geoff, if you are demented, coming to join this Forum probably increases our average level of sanity. Welcome.

G'day Demented, Welcome, you won't be disappointed, it's a beaut forum. Have a search as in the past 6 months I've seen at least 2 forums on cots so you should be able to get a head start from them. Cheers, Crowie

Pffffft Now that just ain't gonna happen,After I've finished the cots,my next project will be to build a table for up near the BBQ.
I'm thinking 3 mtrs long by 1.5 wide, mostly Hardwood with a Cypress Pine inlay.
Because our awning is 5x6 it'll fit under just nicely and everybody gets a seat, well that's my theory anyway

Thanks crowie, but I have a design that my wife is quite taken up with, and I've already started it.Now if I can just get people to stop asking me for help at their places I just may get it finished.
Crowie?Used to play golf with a bloke we called crowie, small world for nicknames eh?

I know what you mean,I was a member of a social golf club for quite a few years but it came to a point where the games were getting more and more expensive and then a few beers after the game, and run the risk of being done for drink driving.
My clubs are sitting in the garage just collecting dust now for the last 4 1/2 yrs.
