Blade for Makita 5900B
Have finally got my hands on a Japanese made Makita 235mm 5900B circular saw, as the general consensus seems that they are almost indestructible.
Not wishing to keep changing blades I am after a recommended combination (or general purpose) blade. Prefer to hear from any of the many owners on what they use (eg brand, number TPI) rather than "experts"on the web. Won't get a lot of use but mainly cutting corners off bowl blanks (both softwoods and hardwoods) and occasional cross cutting and ripping where a fine finish is not needed.
Thanks, Gary
