CAD software
Getting very close to finishing the router, can any one recommend an inexpensive and very simple to use cad cam program, I have never used any type of drawing soft ware but am willing to learn very fast if the instructions are provided with the program.

Go vetric, its free to download and trial, and from that you will see how easy it is to use for routing.

Hi,
Have a look at DraftSight, its a CAD drawing package and is free for non-commercial use. Then to convert the drawings to GCode have a look at Sheetcam.

You might look at CamBam. I started out with it to generate G-code from Autocad DXF's. You can do simple cad design with it and while it has limitations, it's pretty good for under 150 bucks but it also has some nifty features that I've never seen on other cam software.
From my dim memory, there's a trial download as well. For instructions on how to use it, when you click the help on the menu, it will take you to the web page and there's a pretty informative layout for guidance.
It's been a long time since I used it, but I do remember I that I thought it was good value for the price. I only switched over because the machine I run now is a Roland and they don't use g-code
Hope this helps...
