    Default Compliance Assesment or Permit?

I'm filling out forms and the council is closed - with respect to PLUMBING work what is the difference between applying for a COMPLIANCE PERMIT and a COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE.

What do I need to apply for in order to get a plumber in to put New Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage work done for a new bathroom?

I havent got a plumber lined up yet - guy who was supposed to do it is a - um - unavailable !!

LOL - Thanx I was angry at him cos I phoned his old home number and had his sobbing wife telling me the whole sordid story. He's already put the copper in the walls and said he'd come back to finish the rest and do the paperwork GRR

Is there a phobia name for "Fear of Ringing Tradespeople" ?
