Default One for the cemetery nuts

On the outskirts of Munruben township, there was a big old
pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day "Munruben"
(John) and his mate "Wheelinaround" (Ray) sat under the tree
and began sharing the fallen nuts.

"One for you, one for me, one for you, one for me" they were
    saying as they divided them.

Unfortunately a couple dropped and rolled down toward the
fence but they continued to divide the remainder.

Another bloke "Fenderbelly" (Fred) came along the road on his
bicycle and heard a voice, "One for you, one for me". He knew
exactly what was happening and took off at a rate of knots
    as he was scared.

"Fenderbelly" then met an old man hobbling along on with
the aid of a walking stick. He said, "Satan and the Lord are
down at the cemetery dividing up the souls, come quickly
    and see for yourself".

The old man hobbled over to the area and sure enough he
could hear the voice, "One for you, one for me" repeatedly.

He said to "Fenderbelly", "You have been telling the truth
after all, let's have a look as I want to see what the Lord
looks like". They both approached the area cautiously.

Then they heard these threatening words. "Ok, now that
we have divided them all, let's get those couple of nuts
near the fence and we'll be done".

They say the old man on the walking stick was a good
hundred metres up the road when "Fenderbelly" passed
    him on his bicycle.
