Default Is it possible to ignore forums?

I usually hit the 'New Posts' button to view any posts since my last visit, however, a large number of posts are from the pen turning and boat building forums which are of no interest to me. It's very droll having to dredge down through them all; is there some way of selectively blocking forums when I hit 'New Posts'?

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.

Hi Woodwould, yes it is possible.

If you PM those forums that you do not wish to see, I'll turn them off for you.
    Cheers

It'd be more fun & possibly very entertaining for the rest of us if WW had to read the penturners posts before he could look at the other forums.

I don't know, could be dangerous. Like static electricity and dust, who knows what might happen. Actually I'm with WW, not overly interested in pens, boats, cnc etc

Switching the Forums off also has a down side. If a poster links to a closed forum to illustrate a point, you can't read it.

So... we could have a Woodwould roast in the pen-turning forums and, even though WW could read them as "Guest," he won't have access to reply?

    Cool!
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
