That is disturbing both on your own personal level, but also in the wider picture. I have heard from time to time, but not necessarily emphasised, that while the initial symptoms fade away there can be residual issues. In my layman's terms it appears to trigger other problems that may or may not have been latent. However, I don't know that this has been accepted universally at this stage, although it is an insidious reminder that Covid-19 is unpleasant and more serious than just "a bout of the flu." There are a number of diseases that have the capacity to linger. Glandular fever springs to mind and possibly Covid-19 has the same abilities.

I hope you make a full recovery soon.

Another unpleasant symptom of my covid experience has been posterior vitreous detachment. Posterior vitreous detachment - Wikipedia
This can be caused by violent coughing, sneezing or age. When I look at the sky my field of view looks something like this but blurrier.

I first noticed this back in May and for about three months my right eye was similarly impaired. I've been experimenting with treatments and the right eye is now almost totally clear and the left has improved markedly. I've not read of others having this problem.
Innovations are those useful things that, by dint of chance, manage to survive the stupidity and destructive tendencies inherent in human nature.
