Do you feed the kookaburra's? I know if you feed the rainbow lorikeets in the mid north coast, and your consistent with the quality and quantity of the feed, thousands end coming for the daily feed.

If you do feed the kookaburra, what do you feed it?

My problem is I have sparrows and Indian minor's nesting in my roof, and I can't seem to get rid of them.

We were giving our Kookaburras bits of meat. Ham or salami or left over sausage. Also liked a bit of vegemite toast. Sausages off the BBQ. We had to stop though because it started flying in the door to steel our breakfast and tried to fly out the closed window. Then I had to catch it to put it out the door. They feel like you've got hold of a bunch of sticks.

Great photos Undie. If it ended up being in the tree with him you just needed a telephoto lens.

He must have thought that was an interesting morsel. At least yours was claimed by a bird, mine was nibbled at by mice after it had its first coat of linseed, I had to reshape the knee blocks on it and re-oil it.

My dog likes chewing my practice turnings. Now my lil' eggcup has teethmarks. They must like the oil or somehting.

There was nothing for scale in your challenge photos either. I thought it was much bigger.

    Default Challenge WIP

The only pics I have for the Challenge WIP before our camera was borrowed, again! Least one has a ruler in it.

Sorry S, I was in the "cave" already cutting and stacking up the winter provisions... Go on, the bird's nests are more interesting, maybe there will be some warm days before hibernation...
