Just sticking it out there I have a large number of pre cut bone dry
bowl banks all 400mm and under I'm thinking of bring up a tub of them.
mixed wood price will be cheap

You know Pat, I've been waiting for someone to put their foot in it errr, suggest they could bring up a chain saw. I have about 8 firewood logs about 900mm long that need docking so that I can split them.....

Some time ago I learnt to sharpen an old saw. And been able to cut logs with that saw. Might be worth attending the The Traditional Tool Group saw sharpening. May not be a fast with the chainsaw but i think it's just as much fun and great exercise. You will have arms as big as tree trunks, like mine,,,,,
