If I do not clearly express what I mean, it is either for the reason that having no conversational powers, I cannot express what I mean, or that having no meaning, I do not mean what I fail to express. Which, to the best of my belief, is not the case.

an update from Taunton
I received issues 186 & 187 on Monday
as advised previously, #187 was posted International Surface Air Lift in Chicago
#186 appears to have gone to the Dominican Republic, where it was marked (in Spanish) "delivery impossible - no such address"
Last Wednesday I contacted Taunton and requested a replacement copy for #186.
So at 21:02 last night I emailed Taunton as follows:
To let you know, issue #186 was delivered yesterday along with issue #187This morning at 03:11 Taunton's Elizabeth replied:
From the stickers on the packaging of issue #186 it appears that the magazine spent some time in the Dominican Republic where it was labelled "Si entrega imposible" which I think is Spanish for delivery impossible.
It may be that all the Australian subscriptions were sent to the Dominican Republic as an acquaintance says his copy of issue #186 also had a Dominican Republic sticker on it.
Thank you for your e-mail regarding issue #186 of Fine Woodworking. I appreciate the information that you have provided to us. Please let us know if there is anything I can assist you with. We appreciate your dedication and understand (sic) during this situation.
See Wongo, Taunton does reply to requests lodged through their web site and to emails. (and it only takes 6 hours !!)
you just have to write nicely and be polite, especially to Elizabeth
