Hi All,
Today I fitted the feed lines from the acetylene generator to the headlamps. I made a Tee piece out of aluminium so I could branch off under the chasis and feed the driver side headlamp. I used co-axial cable as the acetylene feed lines. I used 10mm HPM cable clips painted black as the feed line clamps. I placed antislip rubber matting on both the passenger and driver side access on the running boards.

It just keeps getting better and better
Seeing as how you used coax cable, does that make them signal lampsThe person who never made a mistake never made anything
Cheers

I know that this might seem a bit early but I will say it now and I will most likely repeat it later, well so be it.
It has been a great thread to follow. Really interesting aspects of all sort of things that come up in this work in progress.

Thanks to all with these kind comments. It's been great fun so far. Nearly finished. Working on the rear bumper and then I am looking at some detail scrolls (in gold) around the cabin doors. I am really looking forward to starting my Stephenson's rocket in the near future, but may have to do a bit around the house - to keep Cathie happy.
Regards
Keith

I probably enjoyed this thread as much as you have enjoyed building it. I will be kinda sad when it is complete.

Before I finish the ute - I was wondering whether it should have a tonneau cover to protect items carried in the back. What do others think ? I would need to get out needle and thread etc - which would be something I have never done.
Regards

I would think in their day it would be a tarp tied down with ropes.
