The bobcat does fit well in the truck's tray. They make a good set.
You should have told us that was part of the plan.
No one would have known different.... Steve

Really turned out great! And looks like the truck and it were me meant to work together. Now you need to post that at the Wood magazine site. They would love it.

Maybe you should make some ramps for the Bobcat to get up into the truck tray now you know it all goes nicely together.

The first mishap....
The first mishap....The glue on one of the bucket pivot blocks let go [maybe with a little too much forced movement?]....
I'd made the pivot block thicker than the plans to give the glue a better footprint, BUT, oh well, a toy is to be played with and enjoyed!!
It's been re-glued in place with single pack polyurethane for extra strength.....
PLUS on the advice of an old builder mate I've added 2 x 2mm dowels [round tooth picks] glued through each bucket into the pivot blocks....
I hope in posting this addition modification along with the others I'd detailed in the build, it'll help anyone else who might have a go at this build...
Cheers, crowie

Thanks for the update Crowie. I hope it stands up now. What I use if a small dowel is required and there is enough room, I cut up skewers and use them. Being bamboo, you will never break them. And if you have room for larger ones, I use the ones that kebabs come on.
I have just started on one of your plans you sent, and should get far enough on the weekend to post something up.Dallas
