Next time I will have less stage fright and actually finish making a dovetail. I do however I think some of the simple but important stuff often get left out in explanations by the more experienced dovetailers, as a bloody near novice, all those simple and stupid mistakes and ways around them are very fresh in my head. The sum of a 101 mistakes in handcut dovetailing should teach anyone. I should right up an idiots WIP to dovetails.

Almost didn't make it after pranging my melbourne hosts car on the way to the event. Those plane blades I'm brining back to the west have now officially become the most expensive of that set!
For those of you that I spoke to at the GTG about the Luthiers course - if you check this out you can see where I'm up toso far.

A belated (been away) thank you to our hosts Dave & Jenny for your hospitality, twas a good day indeed.
