Play some golf go out see the reef, try going in a glass bottom boat or snorkelling/scuba swimming on the reef. Go and do some fishing there is plenty of good fishing up that way.

Didn't see a woodwork shop there, but on the high side of the main drag, on a corner at the eastern end, there's an art gallery that had a couple of nice pieces of woodwork when I was there a year ago.

Or you could just go to the Central Hotel for lunch, & see if Cliff wood work.

And this Pierre? Sounds like a bit of a chap.

Don't know. The road runs uphill from the main drag, and you go into the gallery from the side street - it's above the shop on the corner.

yeah well, we're a wake-up to all these false alarms.

I'm sure I saw a placticine man on the esplanade at Mooloolaba this morning, and I checked with the airline, and there was definitely a seat 6F on the plane coming in yesterday! I reckon he's been laying down a carefully prepared smoke trail!

    Cheers,

    Gumby,

This is not good enough; we need to know whether there are still any sand dunes left in Port Douglas; whether you saw a crocodile or a cassowary; whether you were seasick on the way out to the reef, and so on.
