I worked at an all boys school with an attractive young female teacher who married a guy whose name was Alcock. She had the sense to keep her maiden name.

I met a girl once who's surname was Hunt, I couldn't believe it her parents had actually named her Safari, she went by her middle name, Annie I think it was but Safari is the one I remember.
I have a mate whose first name is Reg but his initials are R C James so of course he's simply known as RC James.__________________________________________

One of my son's mates at primary school was a kid named Jose (pronounced, of course: Hosay).
When Jose's little brother turned up at school a couple of years later, he was immediately named Hose B.
They're all in their 20s now. Hose B is still Hose B. They are all so used to it that most of them struggle to remember his real name (Manuel).Driver of the Forums
