Great photos Groggy. The stand was great, next show we have to sell those dogs, we would make a fortune

Had a ball yesterday and my legs finally gave out from the standing/walking around just after 3:30pm. I was expecting the Melbourne show to be a lot bigger, but it just means I'm not missing out on much at the Brisbane show. Although there was one stall with heaps of complete mallee roots, and another with Stubby lathes - drool drool. Shame, bit heavy to take back in the plane. Got to review my workshop layout, again, need to work out a way to fit a Stubby in

Great to meet all the other forumites I bumped into. Thanks again to Neil for the sandpapers

All the best for the last day.
    Neil

Slow start today but building. I have got all the photos that were requested and will put them up tonight.

It is surprising how many people pass by in a day

Stand still and the whole world will pass by, keep moving and you will see the same faces.

The Sturt School for Wood had an information stand. Some details of the courses can be found by clicking on the photos.

She wanted a picture of that beautiful music stand and of course I didn't bring the camera. Would it be possible for you to post a picture? She would really appreciate that.
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Here ya go.

Two more of the helpers: Eli and Noel. We had a ball and the stories were great

I want to say a personal thank you to everyone who turned up to help out or just to say hello.

To the guys who let their shift "extend" a bit- I did notice and certainly did appreciate it as it allowed me to scoot off to get piccies etc, so thanks again.

To those who monitored the site and fired back some answers - thank you too. The public were very impressed with the fast responses and links.

Finally, I would appreciate some feedback on what we could do better in your opinion. We only had just under two weeks to prepare for this event so we can do better. Send me a PM of your ideas and I'll put them together and let Neil know.

Special thanks to Cam and Scooter for helping with the pack up of the Forum stand and the UBeaut stand.

Hi congrats to the ones who promoted this great forum and worked for the "cause". I called in Saturday but was too busy to be able to help.

Did Allan drop in and pick up his book?

I hope so then we can look forward to an improvement in performance - new material!!!
    regards

    David
