Great pressie. Will all the shots of the flora & fauna be from above now?
Looks like it takes a nice photo.

I was thinking about just that while flying the drone yesterday.
Although I'm not to sure how grand I could make the video.
And of cause I'd need to clean the shed before having it seen by all and sundry.
Which would be my first attempt at an excuse.
But what I really need to findout is: Can I fly the drone into the shed itself?.
Or will going under a tin roof make it loose the satellite link and heaven forbid crash and burn.
I'm on a bit of a learning curve here, just hope it doesn't take a nosedive!.
Cheers

I'm very jealous. A great drone and somewhere you can actually fly it.
Great gift.
I'm very curious about flying it indoors.isnt it just a matter of ignoring the gps-linked functions and just flying it by sight?
Cheers

Now there is a great idea. Could also be used for searching for lost pencils in the workshop. Wonder if you could use some software like facial recognition but re-programmed for pencil recognition? Could be on to a winner here, Eh?
Anyway, Tayne has been very good to you Trev, looks like you must have been very good throughout the year as well.
Don't get too distracted from the Brough build, or I will have to come down and confiscate your new toy.
Have fun,
Alan...

I had a bit of a look at some you tube videos on the subject of indoor flying.
It can be done with some reprogramming of the of the controls.
Meaning "Technology and Buttons" reckon I'll be getting Tayne onto that one.
Using the drone to blow the dust and dirt out of the shed, that's just genius!.
Using the drone to find lost pencils, no need they always turn up at the end of day when I put my head on the pillow!.
Rule of thumb: pens, pencils, small paintbrush's if I can't find them anywhere they'll be behind my right ear!.
Tayne got a ton of Manga!.
(if you don't know what that is don't worry, your just old like me!.)

Pretty quiet around the place over the last few days.
I guess even the bird's need a couple of days to get over Christmas.

Of cause I've been spending sometime each day flying the drone around the property.
Getting used to controlling it, which even for a luddite like me is going fairly well!.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We've had a lot of rain in between Christmas and New Year.
So the photo opportunities have been limited.

As you can see Clyde's been very busy feeding the new family.

Nice to see some young Eastern Spinebill's aka Herbert Bird's around the place.
I had the drone up late yesterday.
It's surprising the difference a hundred metres or so in altitude makes to the photos.

I'm really looking forward to getting the drone over the Bay Of Fires.
Tayne thinks I've got good control with the drone and should have a go.
Although I'd like a little more time practising before that.
I don't wont to ditch the thing!.
Cheers
