    Thanks Michael, thats what i had guessed, but there also appears to be a lever atop that side of the base that threw me, but looking again it may be the spanner from the parting tool that is sitting there.

    That would be my fault. Yes it is a socket type spanner sitting next to the parting tool it fits. I should have had it up the other way so it was obvious but I was in a hurry. Something to do with not having enough time to do all the things I want to do.
