Brett
I have a trip planned down to the Hunter Valley at the end of January. Exact dates are not settled and are a little flexible, although I have to head back to QLD no later than 27/1/13. If the date is around end of Jan I would be keen to come along. Would a QLD drivers licence and a Oz passport be sufficient to gain entrance?
In any event it looks as though you are going to have a good attendence. They are coming out of the woodwork .

Errr(n), see post #55. That would have been good Paul. Perhaps the Hunter chaps should do something.

Hi All
Can't make it on the 10th for the gathering but I still would like to catch up with some of you. I'll be in Sydney from 15th to 20th so hopefully I can work something out. I'd love to meet up with some of those in the CNC fraternity too.
Cheers
Geoff

I think the date suits me, so please PM details, we'll then just see what pans out.
I will have my little travelling kit in trailer - little lathe with accessories like ball turning and thread turning stuff (made on a metal lathe ), plus some casting stuff I think (still deciding if I have room).
Happy to just chew the fat and meet forumites
Cheers
ps I will be calling in on Wood Nut the week prior at Clarence Town, so hopefully catch up with more forumites thenNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Even though I'm "stuck" on the Gold Coast without my diary at the moment, the 10th works for me.

Geoff I am free over that time if you are willing to go out to west side of Sydney. You can have a look at my small mill and the plans for a half sheet router I am going to build soon. Let me know if you can make it.

GTG in Blue Mountains
Hi Brett,
As you have probably noticed in this thread, Dai Sensai is staying with me in Clarence Town (Hunter Valley/Newcastle) prior to heading off to the mountains. I have taken his hint and organised a GTG at my place on the Saturday (9th) - only day available.
I plan to come to yours on the Sunday with NCArcher.
Cheers,
Paul

Hope it's not too late to pencil in Skew's_Girl and myself?
(I've been a bit remiss in catching up here lately... too busy trying to move the shed from Vic to up here armed only with a s/wagon and a 4x4 trailer. Anyone got some spare power points? Or clamps? )
It'd be good to see a few new faces; I suspect my "old" GTG crowd were becoming weary of hearing the same ol' turning tales from me.
