Jon and Janet moved in today. Janet is doing extremely well. She can walk with a walking stick on her own. Walking up and down the stairs is a bit more difficult for her at the moment. We relocated some furniture and converted the library on the ground floor to a temporary bedroom.

They have dinner at our place. To get to our place, Janet needs to walk 10m between 2 houses and 8 steps down to the dinning room. I think she is coping fine.

Called in on AlexS today together with Janet, 24 days since that unfortunate fall.

Also pleased to report I have been given an Australian NSW driving license,(gold colour!!!!!!!!!!!) The reason being is that I have taken up a voluntry driving position with the Hospital in Sydney on a patient appointment program.

In addition a granny flat for our has been given to Janet & I in the Lane Cove area of Sydney for the duration of our stay in Australia (upto mid March), but it does mean that internet forum mail may not be avaialable to me or only when visiting existing members from time to time.

So many thanks again to all Aussies for their kind offers over the past four weeks of our stay.

I guess wishing you a good trip would be a bit cheeky.

    See you in Tolmie John.

John, have you checked out public libraries up there in Sin City?

I believe most/all of them have internet access these days.

    Could be one near you.

    Cheers..................Sean
