"Hay fever" from saw dust?

Yeah, when I moved from the East to the North of Melbourne I acquired hay fever for the first time.

Best guess was increased exposure to pollens - from the remnant patches of native grasses in the neighbouring creek reserves.

I had continuous low level hay fever while was living in inner Melbourne. Now I live "on the mountain" I am fine. (Apart from the occasional tussle with wood dust.) I think it was the exhaust and pollution in the city. (The hhydrocarbons.) The air out here smelt so lovely to us when we first moved. Don't smell it anymore unless I go into the city for the day.
