It would be an interesting half back line if the Roos Andrew Swallow, Lions Simon Black and the Pies Brad Dick lined up in the All Australian side

I watched the first half. Cats mauled them. Cats looked really good.

Pay no attention to the pre-season as a form guide for the real thing.

Tiges feilded midgets as all the talls are out, even Tucky rucked for the bulk of the game as Knobhead still isnt fit enough for a qtr. Richo done his hammy and the stupid new "no hands in the back rule" will be the end of Gaspar (bet they wish they kept Kellaway) Foley again dominated the center clearances, Browny kicked a miracle goal Lids had a great 2nd half as the leading forward and Polak was ok but didnt dominate. But as Grunt said its only the first game and remember the Cats won last year and fell away Roll on round 1

Same. Brilliant tap ruckman but totaly useless around the ground and carnt mark or kick. After Staff pulled the pin i was hopeing as a stop gap measure they would have looked harder at Spider or Gardiner (who i rate) Patto has exceptional potential, but most big blokes take upto 5 or 6 years to get their act together. Shame Simmo is injured he is our knight in shinny armour And Sarge had a good game in the 2`s (a draw, first for the year) He will be a gun for us this year. I still reckon we will make top 8.

Whenever, I see Collingwood and North Melbourne play I'm, reminded of that stupid movie called "Dumb and Dumber"
