Someone might be able to explain this to me as I'm not a techno guru.
Below is a clip of my Task Manager taken when I clicked on a thread. After clicking there was a pause of maybe 5 seconds before there was any movement on the TM graph. After this time the "send" signal and "Receive" signal appeared on the screen. Is that a problem with my computer or this site as other sites seem to react straight away.
Apart from that this site seems to be working well after the fixes.

@Dallas, no it's not your computer, it's the site. That seems to have been a common thread on some of these reports that there's a pause before action.

FWIW we still have a bit of work to do over the next week or so.

Even though it's running like greased lightening for me right now.

2 seconds to post first line of this and 1 second to edit this post to load after hitting edit then back to 5 seconds to save edited page.

Saving an edit is usually slower than some other things.

Bugger last edit change took almost 15 sec. It's still all over the place.

Yes you're right. It seems to be random timing as sometimes there is hardly any delay and other times it takes ages.

ps. this post took about 30 seconds to upload

95% of the time it's really good. Sometimes when posting a reply it hangs up for some time but eventually goes. I have had the message that it has timed out or something along those lines and I need to click on the button that allows more time and then the post goes after a while.

80% of the time it has been loading quickly, other 20% it hangs, so in general, a massive improvement from a week ago

I concur, there's flashes of brilliance along with some ~15sec pauses. But the brilliance seems way better than the forum has been in a while

Was r e a l l l y slow to start with for me last night, but sped up quite a lot by about 2 am. This morning (1/7/20) it's quite fast (07:45).
