Dexy's Midnight Runners - Don't Stand Me Down.
Boy, that one took a lot of searching. I can't believe DMR haven't toured Australia before. To grow old is inevitable.... To grow up is optional

Dexys is right
Well done Grumpy.
Dexys are playing the Harvest festivals. Which is why I'm going up to sydney to see them at the enmore theatre. Been waiting nearly 30 years to see them.
New album "One day I'm going to soar" is magnificent. Kevin in absolutely top form.
Over to you Grumpy
Cheers

This is not so easy, trying to find an album cover that's not too easy to pick and, at the same time not too obscure.
Late sixties/early seventies prog rock British band.

Hey Grumpy - I found this drum solo from Mark Kennedy in 2008 - it's pretty smooth, and that guy on keyboards is pretty damn good as well. Have you ever seen anything of Lucius Borich on drums (son of Kevin)? He's right up there.

Too easy, your go FF.
Mark is an incredible drummer. I remember him playing with Spectrum and Doug Parkinson in the late sixties/early seventies and was always amazed with his drum solos. To grow old is inevitable.... To grow up is optional

Nah, that one was too out there, so I deleted it. It was Mackenzie Theory, "Out of the Blue". Melbourne 1973, prog rock.
Try this one, much more mainstream:
