    Well I finally got the axel and spring modifications done.

    Here i'm dry fitting the cab and sleeper.

    I have an old lathe but it doesn't have a faceplate or a chuck, so I used an extra pillar drill press as a lathe to finish turning the wheels.
    Sometimes you have make do with what you have.

    I have seen people using drill presses to help turn wheels before sometimes you just have to get inventive to get a job done, which you have here. I like what you are using to form the treads I have seen these around at some of the rallies I attend looks like I will just have to get one or two of them..

    The build is looking great and the suspension modification looks the part

    I would love to see photos of this model finished please

    This is going to be my next model , I got the plans today and was in fact thinking of air bag suspension
    so finding your post was a bonus , I now intend to make the back suspension like yours and will give some thought to the front before cutting out pieces
