Hey guys,
been having a bad time with the site today, pages taking ages to load.
Tried IE7 and Firefox 3.6.1.3 with the same results.
Have attached a http log so you can see where the hold ups are.

Hi Neil,
This isn't a technical report, merely some obervations, so please treat it as it pleases you. I've been having varied success, but mostly that's been down to another machine with a much more aggressive wireless card that is sitting right next to the router. When that machine is offline, the forum site is pretty snappy - at least from this old creaker that is at a much greater distance from the router and has a wireless adapter one or two generations before the "n" card in the wife's machine.
Browser seems to make a difference sometimes with the loading of final elements of pages - but it may also be an ISP (Optusnet) problem. ADSL would be nice but we are not allowed to have it as we are on Optus (Telstra don't allow Optus access to them on the local exchange) - we would have to change over to Telstra and we're not doing that. I use Opera and am just moving over to Omniweb as Opera 's javascript-related crashes are too frequent (Opera have abandoned the PowerPC/OS X version so it is effectively dead meat). Recent Firefox versions (>3.0) are too slow in my experience on PPC machines, and I avoid Safari like the plague. Google don't do a version of Chrome for PPC/OS X at all - never have, never will.
At the moment forum access, including editing pages, is pretty good :). Much better than on the previous server - subjective, I know, but the subjectivity of the experience is part of the whole deal.
Cheers,
Alex.

Things went very slow for me last night just after 9:30pm EST, several pages timed out & a refresh took a long time to restore them, all came good again after about 15 mins.
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

G'day ,
Spam appearing on site page (U.S. green slips). when i try to log off some other U.S. sight comes up for jobs. When i do log off I get some site to meet girls.
Have been around though trying to sell our businesses here so we can move back closer to friends and family. Looking forward to being back soon.
regards,

,
On my screen I have at the top your "panel" requesting help with server etc.
then under that I have a "panel" for Carrols woodwork stuff
then under that panel is another blank panel (same size as the ones above) and that is where the spammy stuff is appearing.
Below that panel is the standard user/member entries.

Sounds like your browser is being hijacked.
Download & run Malwarebytes from Malwarebytes
You only need the free version, let it do an update as it installs & then do a quick scan & view the report & click Fix or Remove.Cliff.
