there will be power available.
I would love to see some collaborative work such as this. Where possible I would like people to bring tools with the goal of doing some woodwork. There may be some tools available to share etc.
Another thing I'm thinking of doing is getting some big poles that can be carved.
There is a replica model of the suit of armour here in Jerilderie so you can probably use that as a refference, we can take as many pics as you like and take measurements.

Jerilderie Get together.
Steve
This may not quite be on par with the T&WWW shows but should be enjoyable non the less your more than welcome to attend.
Years ago someone decided to start a ute muster, the Deni ute muster has moved from strength to strength.
the Jerilderie Jaunt could do just the same, Ive posted here but Neil has not commented on it yet, Ive contacted but his inbox may have been full and ive PM'ed Jim.
The success of the ute muster came down to not the organisation though it and advertising played a part. Success came down to those that attended
Success of the T&WWW shows comes down largely to the support of the public - us
As Neil said earlier, if he is hardly covering costs of accommodation and food one must question whether the effort is worth it.

If there were a swap meet section - big area, where people could not only buy and trade but bring their tools, work demonstrate as well you may find people rushing to you and jim and other store holders to buy equipment I know insurance issues can become an issue to but there are ways around thatLast edited by RETIRED; 16th June 2013 at 08:36 PM. How long is this running for again Dave?
Just trying to get it set in my head, don't really want to replicate the armour thing exactly, the copying thing has been done, and donner how many times before, would rather produce something in the spirit of Ned, it's hard to steer away from the armour though, thinking the breast plate should have breasts, just throwing a few thoughts out ok.

Put me down as a maybe, might even be tempted to bring one of the sawmills with me if there is timber around to be milled but then again it'll most likely be to hot for milling

I reckon I can source some timber for milling
Sounds like a plan, make sure you bring a tandem trailer or another truck for the tools
Onya tea lady. glad to have ya, bring that stick thing ya made with a round end on it and some strings, my son plays stringed instruments On that note bring some of your other work and we might have an exhibition as well
