    Hi Kman-Oz et al,

You are a brave man mate. This sounds like a main event.

Sounds like a lot of woody activity is on the cards.

Don't forget the camera somebody, to share the fun times.

    Enjoy yourselves.

    Cheers
    Pops

If there aren't any other kids coming astrid, Jake will be just as happy in a cool bath with a rubber duck No need for the pool then, but thanks for offering all the same. Err, seems TS' bench is bigger than I remember... sorry about that

No worries Pops, I'll be sure to charge up the camera on Friday. I intend to take it all very easy actually, find myself a stubby holder and a spot in the shade.... might even try to handball the BBQ tongs to someone

    Just kidding!

Ah, BOM have changed their minds; Fine and 37 for Saturday I'll be erecting a marque for some shade, but I'd suggest a hat might be wise.... not to mention an ice helmet!

    37?

I could happily waste another day in a pool. Astrid? You still bringing...?

    Dear All,

I didn't realize that the Guitar making course I am attending continues on Saturday and Sunday (I only found out this afternoon) so I can't make the midday BBQ. However I will try and leave Eltham in the mid-afternoon and see if I can get down there by say 4 to 4:30 pm - hopefully some of you may still be around unless you have melted away in the heat.

Let apologise to anyone in advance who I can't meet because of this stuff up, I was really looking forward to meeting you all face to face.

    Cheers
    Bob

Oops! Thanks for letting me know, I got your PM.

Um, the workshop isn't as tidy as I'd like it to be. There's still dust and cobwebs everywhere, but it's functional.... just warning you in advance, I've seen some of the pristine workshops around here I didn't get a chance to pre-prepare anything for the plane-making demo, so I'll be starting from dressed boards

    See you tomorrow

    Dave.

My HNT are packed, my chisels are packed and my bench is waiting for Astrid. I will wait for Bob as I need to meet the man behind the computer.

I have a piece of Cooktown Ironwood that I will bring we could make a plane from that. Look forward to the demo's.

Time to sleep with the fan on full blast.

I plan on being there. It seems that lots of people are bringing great hand tools so I might leave mine at home.

Does anyone need a lift? I'll be bringing my ute so I can carry a work bench or a lathe if necessary. I plan on leaving home about 9ish and I will need to leave the BBQ about 3PM.

Does anyone know if the get together is still happening?

I have a 250 Km drive ahead of me but I don't know the address. I could start heading to Laverton and hopefully someone could SMS me with the address when I get into mobile range.

    Any suggestions?
