G'day Celeste,
I'm buggering around with boxes at the moment, in between brewing and bread baking.......Hmmmm! Yeast & wood.

Hi Celeste,
At the moment I'm building a kitchen sink unit, which will also house a bar fridge, in our outdoor, but covered BBQ area.
I'm using hardwood timber for the frame and bench top and hardwood flooring timber for the outside sides of the unit from the bulk reject timber purchase of a few years back and the inside will be melamine.
The melamine was free (cover sheets from a kitchen cabinet maker) kitchen sink free from skip diving, electrical fittings free from an opshop so the only expense is plumbing and nails and the finishing.
If this works well I'll build a similar type of storage/serving bench on the other end of the bbq.
Peter.
