Midge, you know that life you used to have ...
It's been very dry here and although Les Burdett probably has unlimited water at hand (unlike the rest of us), you can't beat good soaking rain to really wet the earth down deep. Even the water table is very low this year. I'm guessing that's had a lot to do with it and if not, it's still interesting ... isn't it?
