Mr. Wong.... I would like to point out that straight Black Bean Sauce & Vegemite taste very similar to me.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Well, this is the first I'm learning that we have banned vegemite.
I shall write a letter to my congressman today. Of course, I have tasted vegemite and rank it right up there with the Scot's haggis and the Norwegian's lutefisk, but still, we are supposed to be a free nation. Live and let live.
I say "Let 'em eat vegemite."Cheers,
Bob

Yep they ban vegemite but they have this stuff called grape jelly.........
Let me tell you that Interpol should be informed. This stuff is dangerous, absolutely vile. A bit like eating unripe grapes off the vine!!!

Perhaps we should ban the importation of peanut butter on the grounds that it clearly causes obesity.

Maybe the American's noticed that Aussies are just brilliant people, happy cheerful good at sports intelligent resourceful independent minded and not only all that good looking too. So not wanting any of that they blamed it on Vegemite and banned it!
I am sure that it makes sense to a bureaucrat somewhere. Folic acid is in Vegemite well because it is in Vegemite. They add it to their bread and cereal? So what issue with Vegemite? Maybe they just don't want any option to the put it in bread thing? You'd have to be in the Government/bureaudracy and want to protect your little sacred cow I guess.
Vegemite banned (and I don't eat it myself but thats not the point) for containing something they think is so good they add it to their bread! And so few Americans eat Vegemite what is the point?

There's a market here for "Folate Depleted Vegemite"
- Gauranteed not to improve your health.
- Suitable for Ingestion during pregnancy without affecting your ability to litigate against Hospital, Pediatrician and allied health professionals.
- Ideally suited as a dare for students during Initiation procedures at College.
We'll keep the real stuff. Though, since its made by Kraft, this wont be in production very long.
Regards
Rob
