"My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas. Having said that, it's a tune that you can't get out of your head once you've heard it....a bit like "George of the Jungle."
"In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is." Yogi Berra
"Experience is the name every one gives to their mistakes." Oscar Wilde
"Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right." Henry Ford

Andy - The Waifs aren't country. Country is Yank or Yank wanna-be stuff. Don't know what it is, typically we're too lazy to figure out a name to call it.
Worst song..... that bloody "We are Australia" song. Nationalistic pap. Same people that sing that wrap themselves in an Australian flag marked "made in china" ... Tossers.

It is very clever but also very annoying.
Almost impossible to find on the net & a 1.2M mp3 file.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I hate it when people ask questions like this!!
It's like being told "Don't think about an elephant", and what happens??? You're thinking about elephants.
Now I've got to live with "Tell Laura I Love Her" stuck in my head until I can replace it with something more tolerable:mad:

Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

They do it well though! Seen them a couple of times, most recently at the old Empire Theatre in Toowoomba, great concert too.

I'd actually call the Waifs more Australian Contemporary Folk than country. And Im thinking more about their content than their tunes.
There was a young boy called Wyatt
Who was awfully quiet
And then one day
He faded away
Because he overused White
Floorsanding in Canberra and Albury.....

Worst song =
= any song played on commercial radio within three years of its release, or that has been on the playlist of commercial radio for 30 or more years.
= any song that falls into the category of 'easy listening'
= any song/album/compilation/group promoted on TV
aaaaaand....if I ever hear another Beatles song, it will be too soon. (cover versions by Leibach excepted, because they seem to really annoy Beatles fans.)
Right, I'm off to listen to some Severed Heads and some Jesus & Mary Chain just to get nasty commercial radio tunes out of my skull!!
