Thanks to all that had a try.....
The majority of the timber is under cover but we do get a fair bit of wind down this way.
A good mate of mine suggested a couple of products (thanx Phill) so i thought i would try them out on a couple of similar colored pieces of jarrah i had in the shed.
I was very impressed with the finish, even tho the product isnt generally recognised as a decking oil.
The product i used was this stuff......the waterseal was used as the first coat and the Penetrol as the second.
