Thanks tl, it started off life as something else I didn't complete then hung around for ages until the canoe idea came along. I'm sort of grateful something has come of it as it represents a lot of walks collecting all the bits. This sould be the last day of threading wire then it's on to weaving the barb and other stuff into it.

Beaudiful day here, I could really get used to holidays, only five days 'til it's back to the coal mine

Yes! I was pondering a trip to the beach! But I will probably just go to the local pool! Just a bit broke! And even petrol costs are too much!

That's it for the second pair. TIP: Use the other side of your gloves
when the right side wears out, they feel a bit awkward at first
but you get used to it

Thanks tl & Undy barb wiring is nearly done now with just a few more holes to plug I can hardly lift it in and out of the shed to work on it now but it's strong as with most of the barb running full length it could handle being suspended I suppose which is probably the most practical way of displaying it and keeping it out of kiddies way

IYI the threadings done using all but one of Toggys' rolls of barbed wire I can hardly move it I'd like to see how some enameled copper flowers would go but it seems beyond getting done at the moment partly because I think I need a tear dropped anvil to shape the petals like I know where one is Maybe a rock would do?
