had a go with Adobe but havent a clue yet if its worked.In the section belowthis its showing the attachement in the attach files bit and ive pressed the manage attachments button but still dont see the pic. Ill press submit and see what happens

I don't think anyone has mentioned irfanview. It's free and a must have tool for image work. I have used it for at least five years now and I use it every day along with gadwin printscreen.
Today I used irfanview to create a tool document with publisher. Irfanview was used to copy pieces of images and then they were pasted into publisher to create this document.

Also, if you want to do some more serious graphics stuff and still don't want to spend money, have a look at Gimp. It's a freebee and it's really quite powerfull.
You can get it from www.gimp.org.
I was playing with some text effects using Gimp. It also does all the usual stuff that Photoshop et. al. does.Photo Gallery
