I hope, like others, that everything works out well for you both.
Gee 4 months is along time. I suppose that you will be getting a lesson in exercising patients.
One great thing for you will be the chance to sneak off and get a "shed fix" from those hospitable Forumites around Bris.Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

I was building a CBG in the garage until the owner objected to the sawdust.

Just to update this thread. (I've had a couple of people ask)
Treatment is going well, we were allowed to take a break to drive out to Longreach for my Dad's 80th birthday & then we flew to Hawaii for 2 weeks.
(Holiday had been booked & paid for at the start of the year, we just needed to wait to see how things were going.)
We are back in Brissy for another 2 months at least.
Hope to be going home fore Christmas.
I've resumed work on my CBG, (thread in the Musical Instrument Section) I just have to do the sanding out on the driveway.Cliff.

Update.
Op is over & done with.
We went to see the surgeon on Friday, don't need to see him for 6 months.
Went to the Oncologist today, don't need to see her for 3 months.
Gina will get Herceptin every three weeks for the rest of her life, had a dose this arvo, next dose will be in Cairns on the 30th.
She is on a plane tomorrow arvo, I'll start driving Wednesday morning, plan to do it in 2 days, about 900K a day.
Gina's car is in Cairns so she will spend a couple of days there catching up with friends & then she will drive up the hill Thursday arvo to be there when I arrive home.
Home in time for Christmas.Cliff.

Good news about your wife, Cliff. Drive carefully and patiently - remember it is usually the other idiots being impatient and taking risks that cause the accidents, so be very careful approaching the crest of hills

Dengy
