Damned if I know but then we didn't do it that way. I had a wire cage parked at PWS and they filled it with all the offcuts and then I had it brought over via Oz Post. It is a little known system but then I work for them. The only limit is the net weight of the timber can't exceed 500kg. The price is per cage BTW not what is in it.

A metre high pallet of Jarrah (1100x1100x1000) weighing 850 kilos would be about $450 freight coming from Perth to Villawood, and would take about 8-9 days. That's not too bad actually, about 53 cents per kilo.
Just sayin'.........

So as to get the thread back on track am I picking this up from Ray on Sunday and then to Skews girl or NZCarver or Sawdust maker ?
alternatively I could give it to Groeneaj to send via Darwin.
another alternative would be to send it to Hawthorne, California to anyone with a Shipito account, takers? Pmcgee perhaps?

I can get it to Penrith one day next week. I might be able to impose on Felder to hold it for someone to pickup, does that help?
