If you went with the fairways you'll find Sue is very pleasant and it is nice spot. There is a swimming pool there as well which I believe is available for use. That will be something you might like to use that time of year.
If you went the do book in I think there are 2 rooms but only one has an ensuite. You may wish to double check the facilities there if you choose that one.

Yes, the fairways. Your name came up on the discussion BTW!! I didn't realise there was a second B&B to be honest.

"Dave, I'm in Deni and would be interested.
Cheers
David"
G'day David, I grew up out at Stevens Weir where my Dad was weir keeper for a long time
before retiring to a little block at the 6 mile then into Charlotte street. How's that for useless info.

I'm thinking of just taking my swag for the sleeping part and making Neds armour in wood with axe and hatchet for something to do, you reckon that would be ok Dave. Probably need to be able to organise some suitable red gum or other eucalypt to use up there to do it and someone to shoot some holes in it, you reckon that could happen?

I'm thinking of just making the armour, to scale and thought a log with a wide pipe running through it would take the work out of shaping the parts a bit with limited time. If I can get the time I'll make up some templates to follow. Maybe shooting it was a bit far fetched so I'm thinking drilling the holes and burning them out with a hot poker or something or other. The armour parts could be fixed together with fencing wire and rusty bolts. I'm also thinking that an angle grinder with a couple of shaping attachments would be a better way to shape the parts but that relies on power which I'm not sure will be available. Anyway, it could be a good thing to have a go at and be even better if it included the involvement of others.
