Reno's are looking good Crowie and so is the new (cough, cough) Ford. Had our last car for a similar time and just got an update last year. Couldn't complain about the reliability of the old one, never let us down once and didn't cost a lot for upkeep over that time. Hopefully this one rewards us the same.
Enjoy yours and we look forward to seeing some progress soon.Dallas

Thank you Keith, AND YES..... it's a great looking Ford with road presents .....
my girls recon it looks like an unmarked cop car but it's not a "turbo" like most of the XR6 Fords the Police up here have.....
On the old girl I nearly kept the "Blue Oval" badge off the grill as the dealer was going to wholesale her.....
The Ford emblem just has so much history and longevity....did you know the new Mustangs are coming out with a big V8 and the dealer were I got my car already has 40 customer orders for them.....WOW.....Henry would be proud....
Cheers, Peter

Yes Dallas, the reno is prep for our retirement years.
We've been spending some of the super up front to ensure things are all good and low maintenance...helps to have a darling wife who's an occupational therapist in community to give the direction for a safer home...
Hope to get back in the shed in the next week or so...here's hoping as I'm missing it...
Cheers, Peter

Crowie,
Down here on the Surfcoast Highway, between Geelong and Torquay, sometimes the cops use XR6 utes as unmarked cars. Amazing how some people slow down and pull in behind you.
Enjoy your car,
Regards

Finally some progress!!!
Finally some progress!!!
With the building work, Gymnaestrada training things, a new car and rain, I've finally had some shed time.
Boy it feels good even when the workshop still had some water seepage and dampness.
I had a couple of hours on Friday & then Saturday with most of today, so relaxing working with wood.....
I've cut and shaped the blade and blade arms plus spent time working out a ripper attachment.....
Thank you all the people on this forum and LumberJocks who offered direction, especially the couple who gave me some extra photos of there bulldozer models...very much appreciated...
I've photographed a mockup of the blade and blade arms plus the ripper.....with my Handy helper....
Cheers, Peter

Thank you Keith, The scaffolding made the painting so much easier and safer....
It may have to be re-errected as the hail storm we have a few weeks back has damaged all the new gutter guard punching fist like divots in it along with a skylight smashed....the insurance assessor will be here next week... Cheers, Peter

We have some significant progress........
We have some significant progress........
Between this weeks appointments, home chores, insurance assessors, rain and the busyness of helping with the preparation for the Gymnaestrada prop, I've managed to do some sanding and glueing...
It's a slow process of lining up, applying the glue and clamping until it's dry then onto the next part....
I had to make a couple of modifications as I was doing the assembly/glueing, but that explanation will wait until later...
Handy seems quite happy with the progress thus far as am I....the extras to personalize the build seem to work....
A few photos are attached....Cheers, crowie

Coming along nicely Crowie. I'm sure the break has made you even keener to get going again. I hope it's all plain sailing for you from now on.
