being completely ignorant of care and maintenance of compressed air equipment i sadly neglected mine -
i opened the bleeder on the tank once in 3 years, never bled the inline filter and neglected to inspect it hence it was full of crap - the line was also pretty gunked up and i didnt have a primary filter on the regulator

after following the advice and discussion here i have cleaned up my act and am getting reasonable results - i think the neglect though has had a bad effect on the tank and am pretty certain the compressor will need replacing at some point in the near future

pity as it has turned out to be a fine machine even though i only paid new $189.00 for it
holds a pretty tidy amount of pressure and is ideal for the small jobs i do with it

i reckon i might take soundmans advice and look for a 2nd tank - makes good sense
