    Matt,

Ah so you didn't get an angle grinder with a sanding disc attached, like Jack was suggesting.

Firstly well done on your aquasition, those 30" discs are monsters!! Secondly, thank you so much for thinking about me, and what I was seeking, unfortunately I had to make some decisions and one of them was to trade off the JTA (I just couldn't justify the real estate or the need for such a large disc). Henry, who as you know is a retired pattern maker, swapped me his early JY bobbin sander and a spare table with dust extraction port for the JTA (a good swap for both of us I think, and the machine I was seeking in the first place, so I got there in the end). I also now have an Australian made L.S. Barker double disc 18" sander.

I've just jumped over to the Canadian site and seen you have posted about the JTA, looks very complete.

    Cheers,

    Camo

    P.S. Vann, that's a bit extreme...lol.

Hello Groovers, I have recently acquired a Harrison L5a metal lathe. The lathe is missing the gap infill piece for the bed. Anyone got a spare?

    Regards Damien.

I picked up this mitre gauge on Sunday, if anyone needs it send me a PM.
Its European I guess. The thread on the length rod is 12mm.
I have also finally fixed the rust problem on my 12 inch Bursgreen thickly be turning up some stainless in and out feed rollers.
The originals are up for grabs if you need a pair.

I'm looking for an original 12" (300mm) and 6" (150mm) cast iron toolrest for a Hyco/Woodfast lathe with 3/4" (19mm) shaft.....just seen that Woodfast have discontinued these

I have one of the original fabricated bent steel 12" rests, and its....well... bent (must have been one hell of a catch).

    Hope someone can assist

    Thanks and regards,
    John

Found one that matches quite well. I just have to do a bit of scraping to match it to the bed.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but I have picked up a Wadkin 12AGS table saw (photo attached).

I am looking for a riving knife bracket which is one of the castings on the outside of the blade. The riving knife attaches to this casting. It looks like the top of the casting has been broken off on mine. I don't have the piece that has broken off to weld back on. This is a decent sized casting, so I think I would only be able to find one from a saw that is otherwise unusable or damaged. I have tried a place in the UK, but I am expecting a nasty price shock !

If I can locate the riving knife and blade guard I would be able to start using the saw.

I can supply a pdf of the manual if anybody needs clarification of the part I am talking about.

Hi all, good idea for a thread...
I'm after a guard for my wolfenden 1957 bh jointer. Happy just to have some detailed photos and/or description of the mechanism with rough dimensions if possible.
    Cheers

    Hi Leanne,
It may be easier if you put up a picture of what a BH model looks like . I have seen a few Wolfenden jointers but don't know what the BH model is .
