Last year in Bris, I arrived, got let into the ground and asked to stand in line to have my bagged checked by security (inside the ground), there were a dozen lines going up to a picnic table, and after a few minutes with 20 people or so in front of me, I simply turned and left. No jail, no passport check.

But that wasn't checked by any special anti terrorist squad like Germany is doing. Their equivalent to our SAS is supervising this. They no longer live under the assumption that terrorism doesn't happen, unlike our enlightened :eek: leaders.

HOWEVER: This is the only country that I'm aware of where a passport isn't recognised as identification. Try opening a bank account with only a passport if you don't believe me.

I know, I believe it has the same point value as a drivers licence or a photocopy of an invoice which has your current address on it. Such invoice can of course be doctored whereas it is a little bit more difficult with a passport.
