It's probably the most useful thing that was ever invented for 'puters and would be very handy in everyday life: UNDO

Christopha, are you sure you posted it?
I have been into the log of all deleted posts and there is no record of it.
A senior moment perhaps?

Iain,
as posted before; I don't admit my priors. And no; that isn't the reason for the login. Had a senior moment at the time and couldn't think of anything that wasn't taken. Used part of the name of stud animals I used to breed.
I will go as far as to say that in a prior life though I have had the dubious pleasure of 1. having leaden whiteants come through doors at head
height,
2. physically crushed against a brick wall so tightly by a mob you could barely breath (swinging black rubber does help ease the crush)
3. crazy (extremely dangerous later on big time armed robber) lining up my gut with a garden fork with dirt & grass attached,
4 taken to by a mob high on booze & hooch(odds of 3 V 30) and then being picked up bodily and thrown in front of a moving semi.
5 coming across ten 3/4 caste whites in a vehicle about 60k's from assistance; one of whom was wanted for attempted murder. Luckily found their firearm so turned it on them when they took to us. This really p*ssed them off.
6. having to live protect your own kids at all times against the local drug dealer who had been disarmed on his way to carve up my toddlers.
The list goes on, but the memory has faded a bit. The ctrl-Z didn't help either.
I don't hate much in this world', but a***holes and ****heads like in these riots come close.
On a more pleasant note I noticed on tonights news that some of the poor unfortunates had been helped out with some emergency accommodation which has eased the overcrowding in the streets.
Hey Al; I thought you were part there anyway with your occupation of bricklayer. That won't go over some readers heads.

I suppose that the pond life that are currently getting free board have been told by now that rioting attracts a maximum 10 year sentance?
Give 'em something to think about while they're on remand eh?

On the other hand why don't we go and smash some jet-skis, the morons with the stones are just the type who would have one or two (probably stolen admittedly) in their garage.

Craig,
Maybe, but when will judges give anything close to a realistic sentence.
Probably let them of with a bond or community service.

We have one in NSW who doesn't mind handing out 42 year sentences to teenage gang rapists. Perhaps they'll get him

We should bring back National Service and have these young louts doing something worthwhile, if anything it will give them discipline. As we all know, young men have excess homonal activity and it needs and outlet. Todays society with all the crap going on with social engineering and trying to turn everyone into something they are not, the political correctness, the ease of obtaining the dole, drugs and pills and the media feeding us all kinds of BS which has nothing to do with everyday life. This does not excuse anyone from commiting a crime, it however indicates to me that society(?) has failed in a lot of areas. Education being one of them, parental guidance another and so on. The judicial system is apparently run by fools and greedy lawyers. The crap coming out on DVD's and CD's is also largley to blame for the state of our youth. No one wants to give them a kick up the ring because they are not allowed to. I was no angel, recall one day playing up in school and was rewarded with six cuts ( three each hand) I had trouble hanging onto my handlebars to ride home. On the way home we had to go past the cop shop, yeah, your right, the local cop spots me and drags me behind the cop shop for some light entertainment and sends me on the way. Had to walk. Got home late, the old man wanted to know why, told him what happened and copped another serve! I don't think I ever smart a***d the teacher again in all my school days.

Reinstate a parent's right to discipline their children.
Bring back the cane at school.
Bring back hanging and clean the scum out of the prisons to make room for these little hoodlums who could face the same fate!
Let the cops do the job the majority of us want them to be able to do.
Shouldn't take long for RESPECT to become a familiar word again
